I’m Marcy, creator of Ostara’s Hollow Botanical Apothecary, tucked in the charming town of Ashland, Virginia — affectionately known here as “The Center of the Universe.” What began as a desire to bring calm, clear energy into my own home grew into a small-batch apothecary devoted to clean, soulful self-care.

In 2019 I set out to make beautiful, non-toxic candles for families like mine who are sensitive to common ingredients. Each hand-poured soy candle and skincare product is made with carefully chosen, safe ingredients: nourishing butters and oils, natural essential oil blends, and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Then I add a little alchemy — healing crystals, herbs, dried flowers, and intention — so every flicker and every bath becomes a quietly magical ritual.

Ostara’s Hollow crafts small-batch, artisanal goods with attention and heart. Personalized candles and bath products are available for special occasions or when you want something tailored just for you. I’ll collaborate on scent, color, and finishing touches until it feels right.
